The SMAC Summer School 2026 is an immersive educational experience focused on additive manufacturing as a tool for artistic research, design experimentation, and sustainable production.
Through a combination of lectures, hands-on workshops, and collaborative projects, participants explore how digital fabrication and circular materials can be applied to art, architecture, and urban design, within a unique territorial and cultural context.
The program offers direct access to professional 3D printing technologies, including large-scale additive manufacturing systems, digital acquisition tools, and experimental materials derived from recycling and natural sources.
Participants work side by side with artists, designers, architects, and researchers, developing projects that integrate technical skills, material awareness, and environmental responsibility.
The Summer School brings together students and young professionals from different countries and disciplines, creating a vibrant, collaborative learning community.
Set in the inner areas of Tuscany, the program encourages cultural exchange, collective learning, and strong connections with local communities, institutions, and industry partners, fostering both professional growth and shared experience.
The registration fee includes accommodation in shared double rooms (two single beds) within a comfortable house. The house features a living room, kitchen, and two shared bathrooms, offering a cozy and practical environment for your stay.
Additionally, guests can enjoy access to a refreshing swimming pool, perfect for relaxation during your free time.
